The gym will re-open with regular
hours on Thursday May 28th
Changes at the gym
We hope that you are all excited to get climbing again! We will however be required to make some changes at the gym upon our reopening.
Here is some info that will be helpful to you when you return to the gym.
6 feet! We think everyone knows the drill by now. You will see waiting marks on the ground that are six feet apart when you are waiting to check in. If the desk is very busy you may need to wait outside on the lines that continue outside the front door. Luckily this area is covered. Please respect everybody's personal space.
We will first open up to members and those currently holding some type of prepaid membership only. (No day pass use during the first phase of our opening) We will be both accepting new comer monthly membership climbers, and setting up memberships for our pre-closure monthly members during this initial opening phase.
Class sizes will be limited and social distancing modifications will be made in all classes. (An initial period of exclusively one on one classes will be offered for a yet to be determined length of time)
Our water fountain will be open for water bottle filling only. No drinking straight from the fountain until further notice. Please remember to bring your water bottles with you when you visit the gym.
Our staff will be wearing masks and we encourage customers to wear them in the gym as well.
You will need to exit through the clearly marked exit door when you leave the gym. It is located next to the normal entrance that many of you are familiar with.
We will be making a switch over to liquid hand chalk which contains an anti-septic component in it for added disease spread prevention inside the gym. This means you will no longer be able to use your regular powder style chalk inside the gym. We will be both selling and renting liquid chalk for use in the gym. We apologize for any inconvenience that this causes to you all.
Each climber will be required to do a 20 second hand wash prior to climbing on each visit to the gym.
Five brand new hand sanitizer stations have been added in strategic locations throughout the gym. Please use these between each climb, or better still wash your hands thoroughly in one of our 3 private restrooms. The map below shows the locations of the new hand sanitizer stations.
Here are the screening questions that you should ask yourself before visiting the gym:
- Have you had a new or worsening cough?
- Have you had a fever?
- Have you had shortness of breath?
- Have you been in close contact with anyone with these symptoms or anyone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days?
If the answer to any of those questions is yes for you, please do not come to the gym until you have had a negative Covid-19 test administered on you.
If you appear to be sick our staff reserves the right to ask you to leave.
We are very excited to see you all back at the gym!
We have made major renovations to the gym during the closure period. With no exaggeration we can say that your mind may be blown when you walk through the door and see this place!
We will update this page with further info when it becomes available.
